Heck, I'm considering driving down from Chicago.

I would. I did an early oil change. Always do.

Saw on a post, Macan is 8.5 quarts.

This 5 quarts "included" is a joke. Pull you in and up charge you for more oil.

no doubt the tactic is not very pleasant. so all in you are probably looking at $150. I suspect it is still a reasonable deal.... Will report back on it next week. thank you

Bring your own extra oil! What are they going to charge you, 2x the retail NAPA cost? NAPA even has it on sale now.

Just tried calling them for some entertainment. Mega dealership with 21 bays and not one SA that could get on the phone. Said they'd have to call me back. They must be lining up for these oil changes.

There is no fine print about only 5 quarts. I'd call BS on any extra charges.

So try and get new customers by up charging them after roping them in?? Not a good way to win new business.

what is the fair price for an oil change? at a dealer? I know this has been discussed a lot before. I am new to Porsche and want to establish a good relationship with a dealer as per your advice on numerous threads. I thought this was an inexpensive way to "break the ice" and see what happens.. maybe I am totally wrong?

About $300. I supply my own oil and pay $200.

Maybe look into Champion?? From what I've gathered, a much better option possibly?

These Penske dealers can be ........

Maybe some locals can chime in.

But yes, having a great dealer and dedicated service advisor contact is a win/win in my opinion.

Ask Champion to honor the Penske coupon. I bet they would for a new customer.
