I have the 4-way Sports Plus seats and I would trade them for the "regular" Sports seats without a moment's though. They are too snug for my body type, but then again I am a hundred pounds heavier than you and 5 inches taller (aka- not "in great shape"), so.... and I do mean across the hips/butt, the bolsters on the seat bottm, not the upper part of the seat, which fits fine.

But oddly enough they feel better the longer I'm in them. After a little over an hour they don't feel "too snug" anymore, as long as I spend some time shifting around in them. There's just an annoying period of time between the 30min to 1:15 timeframe (give or take) that I'm annoyed by them. Before that and after that, they're fine. Did an 8 hour car trip where I didn't feel sore/pained by the seats (after the first hour) and hopped right back in for a 5 hour trip the next morning with no ill effects.

But I still wish I had the regular seats.

All very interesting feedback. For owners with the plastic shell on the back of the seats, what do you do to protect if from kicking feet? Could you Expel wrap them?

I don't have the hardback seats, but I do have a little daughter that rides in the back on a daily basis. I pull no-show lady socks over her shoes. Works like a charm!

That's a great idea! My kiddo would probably think putting socks over shoes is fun, too! (much cheaper than Xpel!)

Exclamation

I had the sport seats plus for about 4 years and liked the look and the support. Unfortunately, they really are kind of hard and less comfortable than the standard seats, and not being able to raise the front (on the 4-ways) bugged me - might be an issue for some, others not.
