I'd like to retract my earlier recommendation in this thread for the screw-in style hockey puck pad I'd gotten on eBay. I've had two of them fall apart now after only a couple of uses, and yes, I'm sure I'm using them correctly. I think I'll spring for better ones.

 

^Storm, I bought one from Rennline. I like it so far. Only used twice.

I got these and they work great: (they are made of solid aluminium and are very sturdy)
