Magnagrafik is a small shop, and I know Dan is busy with racing season in full swing. The product is well made and worth the wait,, if you want the removable guards.

I think the removable ones are probably the best for me.

I went on a road trip of 1800 miles last week, and I now have destroyed plastic protectors as well as stone chips around them. Rather than replace them with like for like, I rather try the gloss black magnetic ones if they look seamless.

I don't mind waiting, but I don't want to wait and then find out that they don't ship to the UK.

Dan Porter is prototyping a custom set designed by him and me for my Club Coupe as I write ..we are calling it the " shark fin " and it will look a lot like the classic thin concave sloped- back ones on the 70s/80s Turbos but adapted to the current complex curves not the chunky rectangular ones like the oem ones on the 2011 997 Speedster and his stock 991 product which follow that same Speedster shape on current factory clear ones , which were designed for protection over aesthetics due to today's tire offsets / fender stick out vs the 70s

they will give a nice balance to all of the car's oem matte black headlights, DRL housing ,badging , wheels, exhaust tips and the added smoked tail lights and matte black frunk lid :

M. A. Shaw, It's kinda GT-3 ish, carbon fiber wing element. - I was pretty happy with the fit, my body shop did a fantastic job matching the paint up. Props to Westchester Collision in Pelham Manor, NY!

I used some bue painters tape along the bottom edge to help with the alignment, I also used a heat gun to soften them up a bit so I could get them to contour properly.
I looked at a bunch of pictures online showing how they look on the speedster. I guess I got lucky.

Placement looks great, can't wait to do mine. Decided on the Speedster Black. Will post pics in a few weeks when I get back.

Thanks for the input guys

Just curious - how long did you guys have to wait after ordering the magnetic ones ? Three weeks so far without any update or communication.

Ping Dan. I had to send a few emails, and make some calls to get mine. I think we are the small potatoes in his business, but the product is worth the wait.

Is he a user on here as well? I tried the email route, which he responded to pre-purchase but not afterwards.

Just a thought if your motivation is protection. These cars kick back a ton of road crap.
I did this also - looks better than the little patch which only protected a small area. On the Cab you cannot see any seams!
