Black Stoneguard Opinions
Trying to decide on getting or not the stone guards for my white GTS from Suncoast. Keep hearing from others about how junkie the OEM clear ones are. Lookin at these:

Any pics available, tried searching but did not find any, did not try too hard tho...lol Not sure but was thinkin might be like asking what side blades you like on the Macan. Or too much of a Stormtropper look for some

I have seen them on several white cars. Stark contrast works for me, but maybe not everyone. The one thing I think all will agree on - nothing worse than the clears and how bad they look as they start yellowing.

Are they matte or gloss black?

Had them on my base - loved it while I had it

Had them on the 50th and purchased from Suncoast. They were kinda cheesy and if doing again might opt for the magnetic version's. T

I bought the ones from suncoast. They are thinner than the stock clear guards. After a couple of months the vinyl was pretty roughed up.
Ended buying these magnetic ones from http://magnagrafik.com/Products.aspx
These are thicker, stick on well and can be removed when cleaning the car.

If you are going for "the look", get them. If you are really looking for protection these won't do it. You will get chips and all kinds of other road debris. I just had my rockers wrapped. They start at about door handle height wrap straight across to wrap around the wheel well and into the door jam and under the door full length of the rails with Xpel Ultimate. I now feel I have adequate protection.
Just a thought if your motivation is protection. These cars kick back a ton of road crap.
