my wide body contoured stone guards made for me by Dan Porter of Magnagrafik for my retro inspired PCA 60th Anniv 991 GTS " Club Coupe " ( first two pics ) per my request to be even thinner than the reg 997 ones and more old-school like the ones from 1970s/80s Turbos , not the more rectangular ones as introduced on the 997 Speedster ( third pic ) and carried over to the regular 991 stone guards ( fourth pic ) .

Stone guards for the 991 are the same shape as the 997 ones unless you request exact shape matches to OEM. OEM ones are sharper at the fin tip and an 1" longer coverage on the bottom, otherwise mostly the same. You'll have to email/call him about that, ordering is old school.
Shout out to Dan from Magnagrafik for good customer service. I ordered some guards which yes, took a bit to arrive but had a slight wrinkle on one guard. I showed it in an email to Dan and he sent me another entire set, no problem, which took a bit less time than the initial wait to arrive but, waiting was not an issue.

JMO, but I think paint damage is cosmetically preferable to these things. They're just horrible looking. Yuk. If protection there is really that necessary, I'd go with one of the body-color wrap solutions, or even mud flaps on the front, before desecrating such a beautiful car with something like these. If I didn't know these things are removable, in my search for a car I'd be bypassing any car that had them. Sorry, but you did ask...

mine are purely cosmetic and magnetic ..the much larger oem clear rectangular stone guards under them are left in place for the actual protection of these fenders, esp needed with the wider rear fenders on the AWD or GTS models .
it completes my Club Coupe's oem mixed retro look of Fuchs-look homage wheels and Carrera RS -look ducktail ..... if I had a " regular " 991 , I wouldn't have added them

I took a different route. I just painted mine with Plasti Dip. Cost was $6.00 and a little time. I painted over the factory yellow/clear ones. Very happy! Looks exactly like so many pictures above.
