Trip to Whistler, Pemberton, and Lilloet via Duffy Lake road this weekend. Anyone who has travelled this road can vouch for the epic scenery and simply spectacular driving roads. Two caveats: frost heaves (actually not bad at the moment) and traffic (good one way today, not so good the other). Time it right (early morning in June or September) and you just may have one of those drives that makes you sit quietly at the end and just smile.

 

Nice, road conditions on Duffey Lake road was good? I may hit up the Loop, next month.

 

Bumpy from the usual frost heaves in a few spots but nothing too bad at all. September is always a stellar month. Cooler temps, far less traffic, and any sand that may be leftover in the spring is gone.
