Driven that stretch numerous times. Getting more used to the winding roads and trying to keep up with the locals. 😊
I played Lake Toxaway while there. Very nice mountain course. I have mostly played Trillium when in Cashiers. Very diabolical course. ☹
I need to get up there more often.
Flew down to Houston Monday morning and drove this back to South Jersey over 2 and 1/3 days. This is midway through the "Tale of the Dragon" which I had to myself (saw only 6 cars coming the other way and 1 in my direction). I am ruined. Best driving experience I've ever had including 5 years of track days in a prepped 993.
First 991.1, heck first water cooled 911. Write up to follow.

Were the pic takers set up along the Dragon route?
This thread was like 3 pages back...come-on folks, stop stressing about those 992's and drive your 991s. Took mine for a little winter drive today on some twisties as the temps were in the low 20s (F) and the sun was peaking through.
PPF and CQuartz Pro was finished Saturday by Ivan at Lustr ( http://lustrdetail.com/ ), and from there headed over to Loeber to drop the car off so I could have my new set of winter's installed on Monday...and they are FAT! I love the ride.
Grateful my dealer took the car in late on Saturday afternoon, storing it inside over the weekend in anticipation of the blizzard we were getting Sunday into Monday. Love those people at Loeber Motors. Sergio Garate made sure car got to service and all the service area work was handled. My PBA ( Porsche Brand Ambassador ) Tony Taylor, handled everything from equipment order to service appointment..and was there to hand me back the keys after it was all done. Since I bought the car, Tony has frequently checked in to see what my impressions are, giving advice, and if there was anything they needed to help with. Just great people.
And on the way out Sergio says, "drive it like you stole it, just not today maybe"... LOL. He was spot-on, there were alot of cars still spinning out on I-94 Monday afternoon.
Drive these...don't garage these. And snap a few photos on the way.
Cheers.
