Interesting tip about mixing up the track pads. I thought you were always supposed to leave them matched.(?) Do you randomly swap all four pads? Or just side to side? I like the idea.
I leave them matched on the same rotors but as long as pad thickness is uniform I rotate them like tires on new rotors, track and street pads. Inside to out, left to right. Some you can just swap side to side because of backing plate cutouts for wear sensors etc.
