Got a new daily driver. Nice to keep somewhat content in familiar surroundings when not in the 991S. Makes the wait just a little easier. Still, no comparison but great company.

Overall, so far so good.

Thanks. Rhodium isn't bad. No GT Silver, but ok. I do like the Cayenne Classic Silver. That's a great one. The purest silver I've seen.

Must say, probably the sportiest cross over SUV on the market. Saw the GTS too and looks sweet. Just a bit too much for a daily though for a few reasons. Porsche does make some great high performance SUV's in the Turbo and GTS models. Does anyone do it better??

Was surprised to learn no clear side markers are made. In Europe, the side markets are deleted all together with a bumper with no holes there. Getting some body colored ones from Eric @ BumperPlugs.

Nice car STG. I am guessing you got a pretty good deal based on your 991 search prowess. Do you mind sharing the specs and price you paid? I am looking as well as looking at the SQ5 if that played any role in your decision.

Thanks.

Did not look at Q5. Needed my Porsche fix when not in the 991.

Sent you a PM. It's a new 2016 $67K build and got 10% off. For what they're trying to get for used ones, I did great with buying new. Some are asking what I paid for used. Prices will be coming down as more hit the market.

Love the Macan!

For those that have driven both the Macan and the Cayenne, how do they compare? I probably need the space of the Cayenne but would prefer the driving dynamics of the Macan...

What??? Are you serious? Nobody told me. I thought it was NA!

For it's daily duties, the turbo is tolerable. Very zippy and quick, but also non eventful. Satisfies my needs for its purpose.

your problem is that now you are going to replace the license plate on your 911... or at least not park the two cars next to each other... :-)

The plate was a photoshop. I'm not that obnoxious.

Turbos are great technology, just not what I'm looking for to get that thrilling all around experience with a non daily sports car. The NA hits all the senses.

The PDK in the Macan is a great touch though.

Geez, now they're saying 4.2 NA for the next GT3 RS. I guess the ceiling hasn't been hit yet.

Yeah, I really dig the Macan, but when I went to check it out, I found it way too small for me. My head hits the ceiling in the rear seats and even the front seat position felt oddly cramped for my 6'2" frame. Bummed me out, because I'd like a smaller vehicle. Then I sat in the Cayenne and I was in love. But the Q7 is paid for and my wife really beats it up, so I just can't see spending the money required to get a well specced Cayenne.
