Penn4S is an active contributor here who happened to let us know about a new Porsche purchase. I can't see the issue here

Out of all the duplicate posts and the ones that have you , this is a treat.

We're getting a Macan GTS in the same color as a compliment to our Sapphire Blue 991TT. The driving dynamics are amazingly good for an SUV.

I love the look of the Macan but am concerned that the low rear roofline constricts possible cargo fitments. Thanks!

BTW, that Saphire Blue looks amazing!
I was surprised that I could fit 2 large samsonite luggages flat side by side in Macan trunk, and has room to spare on top of them.

For my Cayenne, I can fit 4 of those in 2 rows.

I would say Macan can hold about 70-75% of what a Cayenne can in trunk. Hope this help.

Congrats to OP on Blue Macan. I would have bought the same color but my wife said No to all blue Porsches at home...

I had a Sapphire Blue Macan S after a 991 S and it was a very nice SUV. Was surprised it handled as well as it did. Effortless power on the highway. Cargo was plenty enough for me and can seat 5 so that was the requirement.
I turned it in at lease end but my wife wants one now so will likely get one when her lease ends.
I would get the AS and PTV.

Congrats on the car, great color! We also have on and love it. Best all around DD Porsche I have owned.

STG - You are welcome to drive mine. If you need more room just throw a Thule on the top.

It looks like there is not much discount rather than those normal dealings. The Macan is a hot seller and supply is still limited. I got my wife the Macan Turbo for almost a couple of years now.

Brad B-- Former Tuareg Diesel Owner now Macan Turbo--Seats folded back to front it's fairly equal-- height I think might be 15% shorter in the Macan--
Comparisons--Not fair-- great value, driving range, and torky as the day is long for vw--but minor issues with their central touch screen control-- and service--tried 2 out of 3 dealers in pdx metro area--pitiful--
macan--quiet, turbo has 400hp and a very broad power band-- handling is superb--craftsmanship--superior--one minor quibble and i think it's a porsche thing as my 911 has the same --the car fogs a bit too easy on the drivers side windows--clears fine when you hit defrost--but when the weather is very cold it's a minor pain--

Macan's are starting to pile up on lots now. Some dealers have 20 to chose from. Plus they are hitting the pre-owned market now. Better deals on the horizon.

It is and the thread should be moved to the respective forum. If not then why even offer the different sub-forums. Want to denote that it's a 991 owner's car? State such in the subject line. This place could use a few more moderators just for housekeeping needs.

Congrats on the Macan, I'm sure my spouse will consider one upon our Cayenne lease expiring (we love that automobile). Maybe we'll get the "pull forward" call in a few months and get into one sooner than later. Cargo space and rear leg room will be the deciding factor.

Yeah, move this thread. We need to make room for another PDK vs. Manual one
