Default SPASM ride quality?

Have found a very nicely equipped '13 C2S coupe with low miles I'm seriously contemplating. It does have PDK, Sport Chrono and Sport PASM. I know the ride height is lowered and the suspension is firmer. What do you guys that have it think of the highway ride quality?

It's fine. I have it on my 991 GTS and wouldn't have it any other way. Also had SPASM on my 997 GTS.

It's firm but not uncomfortable. You can switch between normal, sport and sport plus will adjust the suspension.

I always thought the regular suspension on the 991 was soft with too much roll. I find the SPASM ride to be a big improvement. The highway ride is fine.

Ran Chicago Denver Chicago (2000 miles) with it, no discomfort. In fact did the second leg in 13.5 hours, averaged 77 mph.

Agreed! I think without it, it would be too soft and 'un-Porsche' like.

Does standard factory suspension with PASM set to "Sport" replicate the ride quality of PASM Sport Suspension set to "Normal"?

Sport PASM in normal is perfect. I'd only use sport if I were driving on a glass smooth surface.

I have it on my 997 C4S and couldn't be happier with it. The extra -10 mm is a bonus too!

SPASM is great and the stance looks perfect with it. No issues whatsoever, even on the less than perfect NY roads (and that's being charitable).

Coming from Audi's running on coilovers the PASM system is fantastic ... add the Sport springs to fill the gap a little and it is a package that is hard to beat while retaining a very nice ride quality in both PASM settings.

Find a car with SPASM along with PDCC and WOW hold on.

Mr Slingshot what are you driving now? Someone could probably give you a better comparison to something you're familiar with.

Would you believe a 2013 F150 Supercrew 4x4 Ecoboost King Ranch? I will be keeping it, just adding the 911S to the stable. Wife drives a '13 Audi Q7 TDI, college-age sons drive '14 and '16 Jettas. I also have a couple of classics--1960 Corvette and a 1950 ****** Wagon streetrod with a '95 Corvette LT1/4L60E drivetrain. Before the boys started college I daily drove an '08 Z06 Corvette, prior to that had a '99 996 with Sport Chassis (too stiff... ) and an '88 928S4 (know it's probably sacrilege on here but I loved that car). Will be nice to get back into a sports car.

SPASM + PDCC here and love it. Normal mode is comfortable and the missus and I have driven up to 2 hours on CA highways in this mode and neither of us has had any complaints. Sport is great for firming up the ride and a little more feedback but totally livable. Sport plus is obviously even firmer and really fun for the twisties, back roads, and canyon runs. Personally, I usually run in either normal (commute, tooling around) or sport plus. I don't find myself hitting Sport much.

It's great. I also inquired about S-PASM before adding it to my spec sheet. I was worried about a rough ride, especially since I daily drive the car in LA traffic.

Now? 3 months in and I'm loving it. It feels firmer than my non-SPASM C2S but it isn't uncomfortable at ALL. In fact, it keeps impressing me more and more during long commutes. It feels quite comfortable on highways.
