Default Today, I gave my 911 a new coat...

Since purchasing my 991.2 two weeks ago I had a plan to protect it and make it road ready. I started with Weathertech laser mats, then I had Expel Ultimate installed and the last 2 days I spent some quality garage time with a wash, a chunk of clay, some polish and a bottle of Gtechniq EXO V3. The clear side markers arrived yesterday and they were installed today as well. It's going to be 65 tomorrow so now it's Drive Time. Everyone be safe out there.

Cheers,
I'm already at 2k miles, my 997 GTS just sat around so I sold it and ordered a new one. I can't stop driving mine. I can't imagine the patience levels you guys have up there.

You do need to be patient living further north, for sure. But the wait is always worth it. In Spring, it's like getting into a brand new car again, trying to recall all the instruments, then that sound...oh yes

I'm up in New England and any weekend that is dry and there isn't a fresh coat of salt or sand down on the ground I try to get out for a drive. My rule of thumb is get it done in the morning so I can spend a few hours in the afternoon washing it down and spraying the undercarriage once it's not hot. Would be near impossible to let it sit for four months especially with the relatively mild winter we are having.

And to keep the thread on topic. At the onset of my cars quasi winter hibernation I bought Porsche crest valve stem caps, clear sides, and the black "Porsche" slimline plate frame from Suncoast. Definitely recommend the slimline plate frame. High quality, low profile, and comes with sturdy screw caps to complete the look.

Suncoast Parts. It was $357.00. Not cheap, but in my opinion, worth it.

Why did the price of this jump from $357 to $525????http://www.suncoastparts.com/categor...oINTERICC.html

I ordered the t-design phone holder last night. I tired of my phone sliding around in the passenger seat.

I hope you love the mats as much as I do. It was the 1st purchase I made when I picked up my 991.1 C4S knowing I was going to drive the car everywhere and in all conditions.

I don't have one, but I had happened to notice just about a week ago that they were listed in their Sale&Closeout section... but not any more. So I guess the answer is yes they do sometimes put them on sale; you just barely missed it. Dang. Can't hurt to call/email them and ask if they would honor the sale price though? Might be a long shot, but maybe they'd say yes. Good luck!
