Today, I gave my 911 a new coat...
Since purchasing my 991.2 two weeks ago I had a plan to protect it and make it road ready. I started with Weathertech laser mats, then I had Expel Ultimate installed and the last 2 days I spent some quality garage time with a wash, a chunk of clay, some polish and a bottle of Gtechniq EXO V3. The clear side markers arrived yesterday and they were installed today as well. It's going to be 65 tomorrow so now it's Drive Time. Everyone be safe out there.

I'm already at 2k miles, my 997 GTS just sat around so I sold it and ordered a new one. I can't stop driving mine. I can't imagine the patience levels you guys have up there.

You do need to be patient living further north, for sure. But the wait is always worth it. In Spring, it's like getting into a brand new car again, trying to recall all the instruments, then that sound...oh yes

Three Wheelin'
I got the dealer to install a set of Alpins so i could drive my 991.2 but can't bring myself to uncover and drive it unless its dry! I've put 600kms on it!! Waiting for CF shifter and console cover with crest and HRE P101. No snow here now. Any out there?

And to keep the thread on topic. At the onset of my cars quasi winter hibernation I bought Porsche crest valve stem caps, clear sides, and the black "Porsche" slimline plate frame from Suncoast. Definitely recommend the slimline plate frame. High quality, low profile, and comes with sturdy screw caps to complete the look.

Suncoast Parts. It was $357.00. Not cheap, but in my opinion, worth it.
Why did the price of this jump from $357 to $525????http://www.suncoastparts.com/categor...oINTERICC.html

I hope you love the mats as much as I do. It was the 1st purchase I made when I picked up my 991.1 C4S knowing I was going to drive the car everywhere and in all conditions.
