Very interested in how well that works. Planning to DIY with pipe insulation foam since I couldn’t find a filler skinny enough, but would rather have something better.
Installed this cool matte black + silver outline custom Porsche emblem on the hood of my silver GTS. Looks great.
Did the new one have nuts that came with it or do you reuse the junk that Porsche used to secure the original? Man, very disappointed in the nut' itself from the OEM one. I removed my original badge as the replacement is do in on Friday and I'm not impressed with what the factory used! Hoping the replacement uses an actual nut....I hope
@4 Point 0 Joey's recommendations 70/100 to start so that's where I'm at but I'm sure I will go up in rates when I get the brakes installed. Keep in mind as of today I'm a once a month track day guy due to personal obligations but that will ramp up as it can. Also the roads here are HORRIBLE, literally washboard NVM test pavement.
He loosely mentioned that the the rates should be as close to 1:1 as possible with the front at no less then ~70% of the rear which happens to be the ratio that Manthey uses for their setups.

I run 120/170 which is Manthey Racing spec for 2-RS.
70/100 is interesting. Stock GTS was 33/108 so i started at 75/150. Great on street, front end fell over at track. Then went to 100/150 and that was brilliant. But eventually wanted more at the track.

I thought the same and asked a few times as TPC said that was an odd combination, but I trust Joey's setups, so I went with it. I'll post some results a soon as I get it installed and have some time to get a feel for it. I might need some data logging and tuning on the Tractive side. That is why I went with Tractive; I love the fact that they are highly tunable with the ability to log data.
120/170 is ~71% so in the same window as the 70/100 which looks to be a sweet spot for quite a few "good" setups.. Seems to have to do with suspension frequency, which is outside of my typical over-steer, under-steer, aero, etc. experience.
Amazing time in which we live. Tired of losing things between the passenger seat & console, I ordered a leather seat pouch to fill the gap. Also has a charging hole, so pretty useful. Ordered on Friday, shipping from Hong Kong. Scheduled to arrive at LAX today & deliver on Tuesday. The world is indeed, shrinking.
post a video after the install if you can. I have the high flow cats and am considering adding the headers but a little concerned that it might be too much on a daily.
Finally got all the work done. Here is the requested video. I do have a tune on the car as well and can say the combo works great! It's actually barely louder than stock with the valves closed. May be as quiet as stock. But valves open? Louder for sure. The pops and burbles are almost obnoxious and I'm one of the guys who actually likes the pops and burbles. For me, it's perfect. The other thing I noticed is the turbo noise and a bit quicker spool up. Both are awesome to me. I would recommend this combo any day of the week.
Couple of updates on the livery wrap, gt3 brakes and gt3 bumpers. Wrap should be done by tomorrow. Acquired all the internals and bumper trim for front and rear conversion from c2 to gt3 bumpers.
ap racing rotors and red gt3 calipers should help her stop better. Post pics when its done, then off to metal fab for a custom center ti exhaust.

Sorry if I missed it. Your car sounds great...which Soul was this?
