To me the wing finishes the car off! I have the NR Racing's version and really like it. I did notice though that the wing blade will bounce slightly when hitting bumps so I made a small piece for the center of the wing which attaches by double sided tape to the ducktail and the blade and took care of that.
Bought SOUL bypass pipes with o2 spacers, a Uniden R8 detector with hardwire kit and a Dragy. The Rennlist thread on the hardwire install was super helpful. Took 15 mins and totally worth it. Just realized the crest is not pointing where it should. Forgot to say something when I got the tires installed. Whelp
Today I realized my engine cover latch has come disconneted from the actuator . I have the duct tail so gaining access to the actuator is proving to difficult for me so a trip to the dealer will be required .
This is a friendy reminder to make sure your engine cover latches are securly fastened. This is a terrible design by the engineers at Porsche.
I used the Rennline magmount with their magsafe addition mounted next to the PCM. It also blocks the cupholder, but I bought one that mounts to the side of the console that works much better.
Can you swap the pads on those calipers without removing the calipers, or do you have to unbolt the caliper and remove it to swap pads? Also, is the Brembo engraved or just a decal? I’ve been looking at alternatives to the AP Racing 380mm kit, including ways to fit the GT3 steel 380mm rotors and using a spacer for the GT3 or Turbo caliper to fit the Carrera upright if needed. The Brembo calipers looks a lot like the GT3 calipers which makes sense because they’re also made by Brembo.
Just got them back. They are a bit darker than what I expected but I like them. The last set they did for me didn’t have multiple layers of high temp clear coat so they were closer to the actual color. It’s supposed to be Porsche Acid Green. According to my guy the extra layers change the color. Going to get them ceramic coated along with the wheels so they stay nice.
Pic of the first set he did for me last year
