If I could it would be a miracle. Those center locks end up where they are when tight and for some reason Porsche engineers decided the caps need a tab. The tab ends up where ever the lock ends up being tightened to 440lb-ft. The crest aligning with the valve stem will never happen with center locks.

Humm what if you took out a few thousands off the lug or is it already pretty thin ?
I've never had one in my hand to see how/what the nut looks like.
