Couldn't handle the road rash any longer. Had the complete fronted painted. Now to wait for 30+ days and then PPF on the new paintwork.

Renewed my wiper blades. Big Spender.

Amazon Amazon

I did place the wipers in the 45 degree "service position" per the manual. Makes the swap out fairly easy.

Default Checking in...

Service #5 (2014 911-50)

7k miles on the clock

Note that four of those services were done by first owner over four years and a total of TWO THOUSAND miles. Does that sound excessive?

New front splitter (the Adult child took it for ice cream...he was nice enough to offer to pay...I took only half)

New wipers all around...of course, no rear one in stock

I was surprised at the bill. The service manager said the next one (Intermediate) is the one I will want to sit down for. Can't wait till next year!

NO WASH...bad experience with the 981.

My TT CTS V-Sport is lucky if it gets an O-change every 8-9K if it needs it or not. (60k ++ miles, no prob)

No charge for O-changes on the trusty 4Runner.

Anyways, that's my story.

how much did the front splitter run you? Thinking of replacing the same one on my 50th, it is quite mangled after a lot of scrapes

It was about $185 plus shipping from "Suburban".
No affiliation...
They sent the wrong one initially, but corrected the problem.
So, now they know!

Extreme Colors in Greenville is the best in all of the Carolinas. They do the BMW Performance Center cars.

I'll ask the shop to take some. I'm out on a ship off of Ca. starting a survey over to the Philippines. 6 weeks!

I'm pretty **** about my cars, so I took it to an approved Porsche shop, Baker Collision in Charleston. David was great to work with. After all the work, they loaded it on a flatbed and delivered to the PPF shop. They're letting the paint gas out before the PPF application. I'm not in a hurry, as I won't get back to the land of the $ till mid-September. Thanks for the compliment.

I'd argue that point. The work they did on my 964 wasn't to my standards.
