Hi. There are a few over here (UK) that opt for an ‘additional’ oil change before the first service. My take is that if the Porsche engineers felt that it was necessary, they would definitely recommend it, in the official service schedule etc, as Porsche are not shy about an opportunity to make more money. When it comes to certain things like servicing the aircon etc, I may choose to forego Porsche’s advice if I feel it’s not needed yet, but not being an engineer myself, I would certainly follow their advice on things like oil changes and brake fluid changes etc. My service schedule says first service and oil change at 20k miles or 2 years, whichever comes sooner, so my first oil change will be at about 15.5 months and approx 18,650 miles off the top of my head.

Cheers.

I hope whomever translates the manuals for Porsche didn’t translate kilometers to miles and leave the digits the same (vs converting the kilometers to miles) ...

Would love to hear your feedback on the wireless charger? And isn't the cable supposed to be entirely hidden?

Default Techart Springs

Dropped on TechArts. Have always gone with H&R's and decided to try something new. Much nicer ride and not quite as low as H&R's.

You might be my doppelganger! I just sold a cobalt blue 2007 C4S with aero kit and my dark blue 2011 Cayenne Turbo! I also live in Scottsdale. Another person who loves the blues! Your 991 looks great!
