Will do Bob. What is a SC ring? If you meant a USC (Carolina) class ring, don't have one I went to Chapel Hill. Later...….

Probably; however, most ceramic coaters make a comparable quick detailer as well.

I use Optimum Wash, both for washing the car (waterless style) as well as a detail spray. Great shine on ceramic coated cars or PPF. They also make a version with wax as well, but I don't care for that one as much if you have a really good ceramic.

My 911 as well as our previous cars have had various ceramics and PPF. Our Macan has CQuartz Finest Reserve, and it is the best so far (also the most expensive).

Agree with ONR as a washless product and detail spray. A 32 oz bottle goes a long way.

Good AM Robert! I should have figured that out, but at my age I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Unfortunately, the gauge kit only comes with the 5 rings for the cluster. I'll do a little research and see what's out there for the clock. Hope to meet you someday. PS, I assume MD is a 4 year, accredited school, right? Later

I believe the SC clock already has a silver ring around it. I believe Bob was suggesting removing that, and painting it to match your newly purchased and painted rings.

Be gentle, and careful as well and the SC ring will pop right off and look at the back side before putting it back on and you will see how it lines up.

I plan to update an old thread soon with more personal touches so keep your eyes open.
