Fünfer and mdrobc1213, you are both correct. My PCM is 3.1, my bad and sorry for the confusion.
What I meant to say was that my SW version (which makes the difference wrt the backup camera NavTV controller functionality) is on 4.0 series. Actually I have 4.75
I asked the installer to doublecheck on what is and isn't configurable on NavTV controller itself (lines, delays switching views, etc.) as opposed to through CANbus.
Any configuration setting through CANbus message would require a sniffer or a Porsche scanner which my installer does not have..Talked to my dealer and he is not offering any reprogramming for NavTV controller.

As for the front camera I use it when parking perpendicularly to a curb. If I can see it through my side window, I do not need the camera, but it comes very handy when the curb stone is shorter than the car width. Not seeing it I can only guess where it is and often end-up touching it with my front lip.

Would either of you mind telling me the name of the shop/contact that did your work. Please PM if you don't want to post it in this thread.

I'd like to call them and get some more info so i could find someone here in Virginia that could do something similar. With my Cab I have the devil of a time trying to back into anything without putting the top down - and that is not always convenient.

Never mind, I'm good ... I used the info in your post to track down someone nearby that uses the NAV-TV setup .....

Never mind

Today was a day off and finally has some “me” time. So got my oil changed and some of my 30k mile service done early [car was CPO'd at 22k in 2016 and only have 5k on it since then so they deferred the entire 30k service and did what they needed to and I asked] today at the dealership. Also had my OEM mirrors swapped out for a set of OEM Porsche Sport Design/GT3 mirrors painted in Agate Gray also by my old dealership in Scottsdale and shipped to me. Called an audible tho and had these beautiful matte black Carbon Fiber Sports Design Upper Mirror shells (by TechArt) I picked up swapped out and installed in lieu of the Agate Grey uppers to add a bit of an upgrade to the car. They match the Vorsteiner CF rear spoiler I did last year and also accent the black rear lettering and accents on the car. Am super excited and satisfied with the result of these mirrors!😀👍🏾❤️

Now back to garage storage and the CTEK charger she goes till the warmer weather returns...hopefully sometime soon! 😉

Special order from KI Studios...metallic black headlight trim. Never one to be satisfied until it’s as good as I can do, I tried multiple color iterations of trim in an effort to match the black trimmed GTS headlights. I called the US distributor of the film in GA who sent samples of their metallic black to me. They even sent them overnight, and I’m just a consumer, talk about great service! I liked the look and asked KI Studios if they could get the film in that color and cut it for headlight trim and they said ‘Sure!’. Here is the end result which is a very close match to OEM. And a lot less dinero than buying PDLS+ at ~$2,500 which is the only way to get black trimmed headlights. Poor lighting in the picture, it looks really good in person.

That really looks sharp and gives it a nice from-the-factory look! I love the effort you went to make sure it was done right.

Just received the Apple CarPlay upgrade for the PCM for my 991.1 C4S! Now I need to find an installer I can trust in San Antonio to open the PCM and install it. If anyone has an installer in San Antonio or even Austin would appreciate a heads up.

Upgraded to 20" Carrera Classics from the 19" base rims. I kept the 5mm spacers on that were originally optioned with the car.
