Added some zunsport grilles. Glad I did, 4 days of driving and I was cleaning crap out of each side.

Default Question

Now the question
Leave it in all the time and get asked
"What is that for?"
Or remove after track days

My 18 year-old self driving a 350z would say "Leave it in, bro!" Alas, I'm no longer 18....

I've seen these after-market items mentioned a lot lately. Out of interest, does anyone on here have any idea why Porsche leave this part of the 991 seemingly unprotected?

Me too. But isn't it "Be Prepared"?

Anyway, someone made that comment about my car once at a cars and coffee type event after I had left my tow hook on after a track day.

A used tow hook would be a better look than a nice shiny new one...

I've used Suncoast from time to time in the past and have had good experiences, but I decided to use Sonnen Porsche this time. Greg runs an excellent parts department and his pricing is great—and there's something to be said for actually going to a parts counter, old school.
Pete - do you have a picture of your car with the factory front spacers mounted? Would love to see it. I have Carrera S wheels as well and am considering these. The back on the 991.2 does not need anything as you point out.

Cheers, -Peter

Not yet. Haven't had time to mount them, and it's going in for a service soon. Well see when it gets back!
