Are you planing to lower your car as well, Pete? Thanks for posting the suncoast link to the spacers. Love your magazine - keep up the good work.

That was my plan, but it's been stymied by rattles. Looks like I got one of the 991s with a dash and door rattle. I can make a case for the dealer fixing them while the suspension is stock. After I lower it? Not so much...

Thanks for the kind words on 000!

I see your point, were you thinking of using the Techart springs? I'm leaning this way myself on my 991.2 C2 - I don't want it too low, the SPASM look is perfect for me, but I don't know how to achieve this with genuine Porsche parts.

I've used Suncoast from time to time in the past and have had good experiences, but I decided to use Sonnen Porsche this time. Greg runs an excellent parts department and his pricing is great—and there's something to be said for actually going to a parts counter, old school.
Thanks for the info and link!

Thanks - I will check them out, I just thought they were a lot lower - didn't know the height was adjustable.

I have sold both the TechArt's and the KW's many times and have received tons of customer feedback. Let me know if I can help in any way.

Yes, that was my plan, as TechArt springs were recommended to me by Alex Ross at Sharkwerks and I remembered how good they were on a 997.2 Carrera S he brought by years ago.

His take was something along the lines of "TechArt really gets its lowering springs right." And my experience backed that up, as did this article:
https://www.total911.com/sharkwerks-...rera-s-driven/

The good news is that PASM is reactive and works to cancel body oscillations—so it can adapt and account for spring rate increase. And some of the early PASM cars, like the 997.1 Turbo, actually seemed happier on lowering springs.

Thanks again - very good info. Much appreciated, confirms what I've heard.

Thanks!
On my 2018 C4S Cab I used 7mm spacers front and rear. The 5mm spacers will not make enough of a difference to justify their use. The rear of the C4S tires are NOT flush with the body and need desperately spacers. 7mm front and rear!

I got 5mm spacers on mine, but I have noticed when I back out of my driveway and I have to turn the front wheel to full lock that something isn't quite right. It isn't rubbing per se, as it is more of a few small jumps. Like something catches the rim or tire. Anybody else having the same thing?
