Assume it will take some time for the chemistry to develop, but not promising with Chris Evans.

Ha! Sorry, but there are lots of good drivers out there, (much better than her frankly)who I surely don't want to see on TV. As far as the language issue maybe she should do a German show..

She looks like hammered dog $&@/ and comes off very arrogant imo.

I just got to the "Extra gear" and wasn't impressed by that either. Chris Harris was great... his ability to present and drive simultaneously blows away everyone else and I think is even better than Jezza.

The problem is, it was way too short, half of it was taken up by idiot Chris Evans blabbing and Sabine's creepy German Neverland Ranch II. The rest was mostly fluff, and they went on and on about that stupid new rallycross track.

If they had celebrities actually racing each other on the rallycross track, that would be awesome to watch, but they're not. They're doing the same old time on the board format which presents two major problems:

1. Time comparison was bad enough with mildly moist/very wet/etc times. Now with the mud, no two laps will every be in the same conditions, and trying to make a comparison will be useless.

2. All the dirt they're tracking onto the tarmac is going to effect the Stig's times around the track, making that now useless as well.

Good job guys, you've ruined both the funny parts and the serious parts. Everyone involved besides Matt LeBlanc and Chris Harris need to go.

Where did you find extra gear? Amazon and vudu don't have it.

Apple TV. They'll charge you $10 for the season. I don't even have cable anymore.

Yes I heard not promising reviews either. I know Clarkson and chaps are laughing at them about now! Should have just left the show in the grave and ashes and left happy memories of the old Top Gear and created something brand new and with a new name/format. Then maybe they would have a shot. Otherwise now it just sucks.

I watch the first episode of the new line up today along with the extra Gear episode ,,,and I must say I did enjoy it ,,Matt La Blanc was quite entertaining and I think he is great for the show,,,Sabine is fantastic also along with Chris Harris,,,,my only criticism would be Chris Evens ,,,,,I find him some what of a annoyance and his head is bigger than his body ,,,but over all the show was worth watching ,,,similar format and challenges to the old Clarkson May and Hammond Top Gear ,,so really no change,,,a lot better than I expected it would be ,,,,well worth a watch and enjoy it for what it is light entertainment

I think that is exactly how I would have characterized it, now that I have see the entire thing...

Ditto. Have been thinking the same. Chris Evans is not suitable at all

Sadly the cost of Internet only is the same coat as Internet+ cable+VoIP. Google fiber can't come quick enough.

Yes it is! I have a flat wall antenna so I get basically all the football games (in 1080 vs 720 on cable) except for those on ESPN and the PAC-12 network... rumor is ESPN is about to make everything available on the Apple TV like HBO does though.

I know! Comcast is such a ripoff. It probably ends up costing the same once you factor in HBO/Hulu/Netflix, but not having the option to sit down and "see what's on" saves so much time. Read a book or something!

I watched a little of Extra Gear but won't bother with the rest of it. Just a few more months till Grand Tour.
