Just saw this... I try to keep an open mind on international things for the fact that the world is getting bigger and smaller at the same time and also know that the reason I am not a TV host is because less people would appreciate my personality & sense of humor than even Chris Evans.

Yes! The show is looking up! I think Matt Leblanc is really starting to figure things out, he did a great job on the Rolls film. They need more interaction with Chris Harris though so he's not just the drives the car fast guy.

Have been watching the new show and enjoying it. Surprised to see a British guy get dumped and an American guy stick in a BBC British car show. I understand why, but still surprised. Leblanc has been better than expected. Evans seemed to be trying too hard and almost shouting. Ah well, I will keep watching. Also enjoying the James May show, Cars of the People.

Where are you guy seeing it? All I can see is old Top Gear shows on BBC-America here. But from what I've heard the new show/crew had yet to gel and Evans seem to be the weakest link. Will see what happens next.

They should just make Leblanc and Harris the hosts and ditch the rest.

They should promote Chris Harris to Chris Evan's lead job. Chris Harris is the only one on the current show who would have been qualified to join the old top gear. The original guys were awesome because they were all car journalists (in the sense that they could give great reviews of whatever they were driving and the comedy was part of the review, rather than something stupid tacked on, like the sandwich Matt Leblanc put in the empty radio hole in the 911R).

Matt Leblanc is a pretty big car guy too, I think he'd be qualified enough for the old show.

BBC America Monday Nights. My DVR records new and old shows both.
