My dad took me to go drool over 944's at HBL Porsche in Tyson's Corner, VA as a twelve year old. I wandered over and saw this beauty and wanted a 911 from then on.

So many nice cars. I was only every number off on the powerball. So close.

No thanks.
Is that why they are fetching well over 100k? LOL

The interior is nicer than the German rentals (BMW's and the like). It's got a hand stitched alcantara steering wheel and alcantara recaros which make my Porsche adaptive sport seats seem normal. If you got in one and drove it you would almost certainly be trying to figure out how to get one. 911 is nowhere near the experience of a Shelby GT350 (unless you're talking about the new 911 R or 997/991 GT3).

Road and Track said if you took the "auditory drama of the Ferrari, poise of the Bentley GT-R, limitless capability of the Porsche GT4, and track purpose of the Viper rolled into one you would have the Shelby GT350" - they aren't lying. Guess that's why it won 2016 performance car of the year "by a longshot".

If you've got the funds, order it now. Thank me later.

Peace out.

I agree. I think triple black (gloss not metallic) is THE best look on the Spyder. It just works on that car, particularly on the speed humps.

If I had any place to put it, I'd own that car right now, but I'm just unwilling to sell any of my cars to make room for another car. Gonna have to wait until retirement.

This would be my pick. A 1953 Pre-A Bent Window Outlaw 356. 250 HP, 1680 lbs. It would look REALLY good next to my 991S Cab...

Thank you for starting a Porsche **** thread!

Was lucky enough to see that Singer 'Montreal' car in person a few months back, my local dealer had a Singer event with the Montreal + Toronto cars along with Rob Dickinson and the Singer team. Amazing in pics but absolutely stunning in person, some low quality cell pics below from the event.
