Funny that you mention the GT350 -- I just got off the phone with the Ford dealer (yesterday, seriously). I've been a german-car enthusiast for the past 10yrs, but I gotta see what all the excitement is about...

It will be a 20,000 car with a 30,000 engine. Not good. Same cockpit as a rental car....it's very tough to correctly make super cheap and super expensive cars at the same time. Step one is NO SHARING OF PARTS (or dang limited).
No thanks.

Do it! - I'm a Porsche fanatic - but the Shelby is nuts.

I work inside the retail automobile industry and work with dealerships all over the country. Many car dealers have personal collections that are hidden away. I have seen some cars!!
Recently visiting a dealer in the corporate office, (ex-power sports dealership), I saw 2 dream P cars. Still want a 930 in red and there she was. 87 with 25,000 miles Guards over tan. It looks new. "sell it?" I ask, he responds 150K. I don't have that kinda cash.
The GT2 was not for sale.
The 930 is for sale. PM if anyone is interested. You will not find it offered anywhere, if he sells it OK, if he keeps it, OK.
