Default PIWIS TSI Walkthrough

For those interested, I've screen-o-matic'd a walkthrough of the PAG PIWIS TSI online application. As mentioned in previous post, this is a comprehensive information system used by most service departments, independent garages (and just about anyone else with the $$ for an account) when working on P-cars. Not only are there Work Manuals, there are wiring diagrams, information and service bulletins, and ton's of other reference materials for just about all Porsche models. They have all MY of 991, including new stuff posted not long ago for the 2017's!

I use the system when working on my own car, my DIYs and generally just to learn about how our cars are put together and work!

Anyways, here is a link to the vid I made:

If you have any questions, post here or PM. Happy to help out, find things for you, etc. I have already posted my index of WM's and other docs over on my blog that might be useful. Note that I can't legally just send or post the copyright'd documents, but happy to "share knowledge" from my own library of WMs and related documentation from PIWIS.....

Good stuff. Please never upgrade to a 991.2! That wouldn't be as bad as another brand or generation though! We need you.

FYI, Quick Update to previous post. I hadn't looked at the pricing model for PIWIS for a long time.... Looks like they eliminated the amount-based document access option.
Time subscription Price
1 Day Subscription 140.00 US $ plus VAT
30 Day Subscription 700.00 US $ plus VAT
365 Day Subscription 7,000.00 US $ plus VAT
1 hour subscription 14.00 US $ plus VAT
1 week subscription 280.00 US $ plus VAT
365-day subscription - Body 3,920.00 US $ plus VAT
Time Based Subscription:
A Time Based Subscription includes the access to the documents for a certain time.
The subscription time starts immediately after successfull financial transaction.

Money Based Subscription:
A Money Based Subscription includes the access to the documents for a total amount of money.
For each accessed document a special fee is used, till there is no money left.
This fee can differ for each information media.
Since 17.04.2015, amount-based subscriptions can no longer be purchased. Existing credit can still be used.

All- quick follow-up to OP... I shot a quick video discussing the pricing plans for PIWIS. Take a look if you are interested in creating an account.

Can someone with a PIWIS TSI account - or anyone actually - go to the link and see if the website's working?

https://techinfo2.porsche.com/PAGInf...?Type=GVOStart

All I get are the graphics. No navigation menus, etc. I've tried three different browsers. The maddening thing is that the very first page presentation works for each browser after a reboot. But, the second page presentation, for either the top-level home page or one of the links off the home page results in a mostly-blank, unusable page.

Is it me? Or is the site down for some sort of Christmas PM?

TIA
