"On Winning" article in Panorama
Reading your comments JD reminds me of some threads from back when this whole thing first started. All the different reasons people would do this. Guys who actually do seem to think its just a car- but a rare one maybe they can buy and flip. I remember saying this car only makes sense for the dyed in the wool Porschephile for whom PCA is a big and very special part of their life. It seems so obvious, but there were so many for whom that just did not seem to be the case. Left me wondering how many- or if any!- would find their soul mate. Reading your story, its clear this one did. Thanks a million!
We sure appreciate the compliments, and John deserves kudos!!
While it's easy to see the initial logic of comments here regarding the promotional value of the article as freeware, PCA has no choice but to defend its copyrighted material—so I've asked the OP to delete the scans. As a fellow enthusiast and Rennlister, I hate to be the one to police this stuff, but PCA members pay for the creation, layout, and publication of Panorama content—and view the magazine and its content as a primary member benefit.
Thanks!

Part of my motivation for writing it was to share my experience with any and every PCA member who would have loved to be there but wasn't. I'm very grateful.

My wife and I participated in a local PCA region's fun run on New Year's day and it was really great to share the Club Coupe with a bunch of other PCA-ers who were enthusiastic about the car. We're looking forward to doing more of that in 2016.
In an ideal world there would be more GTS CC's in the hands of people who love them, rather than view them as something from which to profit. I think, given time, the majority will find the right homes.
Wonderful story, writing & photography, John!
I do look forward to drooling (at a distance!) at your score while in the Bay Area neighborhood...
P.S. A little birdy tells me that there is a roll during lunchtime today (Fri 1/8) in Marin.

If you're going to the GGR thing at Canepa tomorrow, we'll be there with our CC, rain or shine.
