Default 2016 Mexico Blue GTS

Its here, my 2016 Mexico Blue GTS. Its been a long time coming, but just seeing it for 10 minutes tonight made the long wait worth while..

PASM Sport
PDK
PDCC
GTS Package in Silver
Tinted rear window
Rear wiper
Painted washers
Painted lower side sills
Fire extinguisher
Parking front and rear with camera
Passenger net and Smoking package.

Things to be fitted, in next couple of days.

Front bumper grille
Change badge on rear to 991GTS
BMC air filters
AWE switch path.

Got the call at 5.30 tonight. "Your car is here!"
The OPC is only 10 minutes away so we went to have a look.
They were closing, but the cleaners let us in to take a few pictures and drool a lot. Woah... the colour...

Mexico blue looks incredible. With no sunroof and a full painted roof the car looks amazing. I was a little worried about having the side sills painted, so much so that I bought some unpainted ones last week, just in case. But I love the look.

Black grille looks great against paintwork

Painted side sills

Mint green and Mexico Blue. Glass roof v painted roof

Do. Want.

Beautiful. And imo, the glass roof just doesn't do it for me. I prefer to see paint up there.

Now that, has been worth the wait! Congrats. Simply stunning. There was a 997 GT3 at my dealership in MB and it is so well suited to the car. / 911. Looks great with the black accents. Well done.

Agreed, particularly on a PTS car! That is why I went with the steel/painted sunroof.

I bought them to put in my C2s but never got around to it.
The new car is having the rear bumper off to fit the radar stuff and also fit the switch path, so thought might as well stick them in too.

Ok. Same service interval? 40,000 miles?

Again, very-very nice.

They say clean at 10K miles. These can be cleaned, oiled, and reused. OEM filter for Porsche Motorsports and Ferrari, and other exotics in EU. Supposed to have a slightly better sound when using them too.

I waited nearly 9 months for this car, so had a lot time to waste on "stuff"..
As far as I know GTS service intervals are the same for all 3.8 engined Carreras.

But I will get oil and filter changed at 1000 miles, then every 10,000 miles.
