Re: the color of the 'red' 911 Turbo flown in...
I believe it's 'Carmine Red', which is a 'Special Color' (a solid/uni) on the new .2 991 and will probably be
similarly offered on the .2 911 Turbo.
*******
'Amaranth Red Metallic'
'Amaranth' is a metallic & looks nothing like this .2 Turbo 'solid/uni' color on the top photo.
Besides, 'Amaranth' is dead & buried at a special cemetery for non-successful Porsche colors
in Germany. The colors are buried upside down to prevent any chance of them being resurrected
on any future Porsche model. This unique 'color cemetery' is located close to Zuffenhausen at
Feuerbach. And the grave there of 'Amaranth Red Metallic' is not far from that of the infamous
.1 991/981 'Lime Gold Metallic', a color so 'sour & acidic' that it will guaranteed a lifetime
prevention of scurvy to anyone that ordered that peculiar hue on their Porsche. So even if
it suffered from dismal resale values, 'Lime Gold Metallic' at least it had some medicinal powers
to partly off-set the whopping financial loss suffered by anyone choosing this rather 'toxic' color!

Interesting. Has the old turbo wheels. I wonder what they are doing with those Euro bumper/spec cars in Canada. Clearly not for customers. Model delete is a little unusual if destined for a show (and too early since official unveiling is supposed to be January). Maybe a mule for further testing?

similar to Oaktown's recent 'loaner' wheel/tire set for his winter European
Delivery in Germany....

'Lindgrün' will live forever!
the early 911 period and it has NEVER even been considered for burial over
there at Feuerbach. It was last used as a PTS color on a .2 997 gt3 RS 4.0
Limited Edition ordered by a fellow R-Gruppe & Rennlister that posts on the
991 & 997 gt3 forums:
It was requested by a fellow Rennlister (green lantern) to be added to the
PTS list via his dealer (Sonnen in Marin County, CA) over one year ago. It
has not yet been approved. But I expect it will be soon!
'Chartreuse/Lindgrün' (Color Code 226) is a classic Porsche color with no
sell/by expiration date. It will outlive us all as a Porsche PTS color for
the ages & it's a distinguished & honored member of the 'Hall of Fame'
of iconic/vintage Porsche colors!
What else you want to know about 'Lindgrün' ? Or will this do?
