I am actually going to attempt to make a front splitter for the sport design/aerokit cup front bumper.

Glad I'm not only one thinking our 991 (sport design/aerocup) splitters are anemic/boring. Are you thinking a hard rubber material, ABS plastic, CF??
Rubber would be my first choice as low as these cars are

BOL, Keep us posted and put me first on customer order

I definitely don't think they're boring, I just want to do something different. I've been building BMW race cars for a few years and I love to make my own parts when I can.

I'm going to make the prototype out of fiberglass, just to get the shape, and then make the final product out of carbon fiber. If it looks good enough, I will install it on my car and sell it to anyone who would like one.

Please make these someone! I have an M4 and BMW aftermarket products are everywhere. Clearly more cars out there so the market for these mods is greater.

Default Carbon Fiber Front Splitter

18 months later, has anything happened with a replacement carbon fiber front splitter for a Sport Design/Aerocup car?

Any information would be appreciated.

Good call! While you're at it, make some of these skirts for the narrow body cars too please: https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/991SSILL.html

I don't want to spend $2k for the CF version.

I believe that a RL search on these guys (design911.co.uk) might well uncover some horror stories of dealing with them YMMV.
