When going do to typical paint correction, can they take care of minor rock chips? I would have to assume that they would not, but it would be nice!

The guy I use does. I bring him my Dr. Color Chip kit and the Porsche touch-up paint. He's not going to do 30 of them, but certainly 5-6. I keep up myself during the driving season after the washing regiment.

I have the Porsche touch up paint, but I'm scared to apply it as I don't want to make a mistake.

Like Lex said, good stuff. Can't screw it up.

With OEM paint you have one shot, this stuff you have trial/error with no consequences. After curing, lasts too!

Well , laser shifting is illegal in Texas and you are only supposed to be able to detect lasers.

That being said, those are Laser Shifter Pros that came with the newest version of the Escort 9500ci.

When installed, the shifting capabilities are disabled. If I were a nefarious individual, I could easily re-enable the shifters in the escort interface. But who would do that?

I have that same escort in my Cayenne and raptor. (in texas). those shifters, if they were enabled, hypothetically, really seem to confuse the heck out of the local enforcement officials until you get within about 500 feet of them. Best just to turn off the detector if you do get pulled over so no questions get asked.

95 to 60 in 1000 feet, no tickets yet...

course this is just hypothesis and conjecture on my part.

I am in the minority here but would just as soon take it to the car wash when needed, drive the crap out of it and repeat ad infinitum.
I agree and it's actually the main reason I'm selling my way-too-nice-looking Targa GTS. I'd rather have something that I can drive, get dirty, take to the track, autocross, get rubber marks on and, occasionally, get an $80 hand wash and do it all over again.

Based on this thread I'd say, about $2k.
