Definitely some regrets not buying, especially some bargains during the recession. Decided it would be a better idea to build a house during that time. But no regrets selling any, as I always did for a reason, and always knew the good ones would be more valuable someday. Hard to believe I owned both of these as a 23 year old, given their values today...

You have a Singer before Singer was around...lol. I like what you did to it, wish it was in my garage!

I have sold so many cars over the past 55 years and quite honestly I have no serious regrets on any of them. While it is interesting to think about still having a couple of them I have no idea how I would store another car -- or really be able keep them "exercised". I really enjoyed the vast majority of the cars and while there was a brief period of grief after a few of them the new car quickly took over in my heart.

I'm probably more bummed by the cars I did not buy -- they were slightly out of my price range at the time. And the problem now is that they are still out of my price range since the ones I missed out on truly collector cars -- primarily american muscle cars.

I'd be much better off financially if I would have kept both of these. And of the cars I've owned these were my favorites.

Bump for this one. Along with "first Porsche", there seem to be a lot of "I wish I still had" stories.

Some great ones posted above ^^^^

I wish that I still had my '96 993 C2. Have owned two 911s since but I can't seem to get over the beauty of the 993's design.

for me 3 cars comes to mind.
1. 1995 MR2 Turbo. Red, tan interior. It was a dealer show car, all the options that was avail at the time. T-Top, alarm. Completely stock.
2. 1988 MR2 Supercharged. Black with black interior. Sister totalled it while i was in japan working for a couple of year.
3. 2001 Boxster S. My first P-car. loved that motor, hated that vinyl rear window. sold it to fund my wedding, asian weddings are strickly a cash only affair, wanted to do it on my own rather than rely on the parents.

now my 991 C4S brings alot of that thrill of driving back.

I have regretted every Porsche I've ever sold.

4 of them fell within "engine failure" model year ranges, and worry about that once out of warranty was a contributing factor.

My last two (997.2 and current 991.1) have no such issues. \ o /

2013 M3 Competition Package. It was an awesome car, should've kept it longer.

Perfect way to put it ...

I have owned a lot of cars ....too many cars actually and while I had my fun with them I can't think of one that I wish I kept. At the time they were great but when I sold them I was happy to say goodbye and go on to the next one that I fell in love with.

The two that got away. First wife made me sell the TR6. Never forgave her. I sold the 997 TT, still don't know why.
