Yep - Houston on 7/29. Mine is a GTS. Still can't believe my good fortune in getting, what appears, one of the last allocations for a .2 version. I expect to take delivery by 8/9 or sooner.

Out of curiosity, why is it special to have what might be the last allocations of the .2?

For me it was timing and personal preference. Always wanted a GTS even though new 992 S is equal or even faster. Combination of GTS designation, 991.2 interior and exterior looks plus not wanting to wait a couple of years for the 992 GTS version. I'm in my early sixties so if this is the last P car I get then wanted it to be a 991.2 GTS.

There are so many things about the 992 I don't like. The size and shape of the spoiler being a major one. That being said, I'm sure time will soften my view and when the 992 Targa comes out in s few years I will be very tempted to trade in my yet to be received 991.2 Targa GTS.

I prefer the looks--inside and out--of the 991.2 to the 992.

Got it...it's matter of preference!

I'm a fan of the 991.2 Targa design as well.

My Targa has arrived at the dealer! Came off the Columbia Highway in Halifax on July 18 and arrived at the dealer on July 23. For convenience sake I am letting the dealer do the PPF (3M Pro) and the Ceramic Pro coating. I pick it up next Tuesday (July 30)!

Ships going in and out of Houston looks like the green group at the local PCA track event. Columbia Highway now due 2:51am on 7/30, so just about five hours before my new GTS arrives on US soil. Cannot wait to see this beauty hopefully by middle of next week. Pictures galore will be coming once prep completed. Stay tuned.
