So it looks like my 991.2 Targa 4 GTS has been completed (V300 - 8/27). Now...how is the best way to find out what the shipping schedules are? I'm hoping I might get lucky with one leaving Emden in the next 7-10 days. And how do I know when it is actually on the boat?
I believe only your dealer (or PECATL or LA) can tell you what ship your car is on. For shipping schedules see http://www.pwl.de/en/pwl-services Under Liner Schedules select Trade Lane: US West-and East Coast and Carrier: Volkswagen Export. You will then get the latest shipping schedule. You can then play guessing games as to which ship might take your car!
I placed the order in May this year. Was told September delivery at that time and throughout the summer. Scheduled a garage remodel for the new whip. Dealer in Colorado Springs told me today some parts are on back order and car is delayed to November. Highly annoying 😡

But you may be receiving one of the very last 991.2s!

Porsche has built more 991.2 GTS and is building em later than I expected. But with the 992 delay, it makes sense. One part that is specific to the GTS is the turbos used. This is why I think Porsche pulled the X51 PowerKit...
The Columbia Highway has reached Halifax with my Targa GTS. Hopefully just a day there and onward to Houston (via Davisville, RI). Expected Houston arrival on the 27th. The excitement is building!!!

Amen, the wait is almost over! But Bob can be a little dictatorial, motorcycle and guns and all. Keep posting as you wish. But a picture as soon as possible would be wonderful! Don't shoot, Bob! ;-)
