The Shanghai Highway is in California! Managed to grab a screenshot of the arrival in San Diego... hopefully they unload that thing quick and head on up to Benecia in the morning!
It's getting close. I have really enjoyed the camaraderie of our little OCD group of waiters on Rennlist. This has made the waiting a little bit more enjoyable!
Me as well. You and Tom T must be going nuts knowing that you are only days away now.

I'm sure I can do some looking around (my Rennlist search game is not strong), but does anyone have any anecdotal experience with timeframes for clearing PDI in Benecia? My SA is saying two weeks to get the car, but I seem to remember that others are doing significantly better than that. Thoughts?

I know somewhere in this thread there was a specific post regarding Benecia but generally it seems to run the gamut from a few days to a few weeks.

My RS is in Shanghai Highway also. Another member here got his RS delivered through Benicia to Walnut Creek dealer within few days. Porsche estimate indicated about a week from Benicia to dealer on mine. Sure hope it won’t be two weeks!!! Even harder to wait now that it’s almost here!
Latest ETA at DVV for Goodwood is 11pm-ish tonight, 12/4. Apparently now making up some previously lost time. The MarineTraffic site includes a graph of Goodwood's speed during this voyage which indicates she spent several days running way below 10kn, which perhaps helps explain her tardy crossing? Wonder why she ran so slowly all that time?

God bless,

Really appreciate the update. I like the optimism. Speaking of optimism, I saw a live interview with the Commerce Secretary on CNBC this morning in which he reiterated that as long as the US and EU were still negotiating, the President has vowed no new tariffs on the EU. He also said the automotive tariff report has been bouncing around federal agencies and does not seem to be final. It appears as though the German reporting on auto tariff implementation was premature (hopefully).
I cracked and got the 3-day trial from Marine Traffic. Now I just have to remember to cancel it.
You can actually cancel it right now without affecting the 3 day trial. Go to your account page and you will see a button that says something about not renewing. Click that.

Hopefully the German automakers that met w/Trump today are being more realistic than optimistic in thinking the threat of tariffs have lessened somewhat.
Haven't noticed anyone cheering the arrival of Shanghai Highway at San Diego ... hoping that some of our friends will be receiving special packages dispatched from there very soon!
Anyway, for those of us awaiting it's arrival at Benicia, a tug boat has just pulled up along side so a good sign that Shanghai Highway is about to get underway. Benicia seems to be just over a day's transit from it's current berth so it appears that our Decision 6th scheduled arrival is trending toward being met.
