Thanks TT! I'm actually getting excited now. Question - how do I know which vessel it is on? Thanks in advance! (TIA).
Your dealer will give you that information...in my case it came from PECATL as that's where I took delivery of my 911. You can find some shipping info this way, but the only way to know your ship for sure it from your dealer:
Congratulations Zeus! It looks like your car should be on the Siem Cicero, which is scheduled to leave Emden on 4/15. Here's a copy of the shipping schedule. You can also find tracking information on this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...ing-guide.html

Under Liner Schedules click on the shipping lane for US East and West Coasts Select Volkswagen Export
You will get a schedule of departure dates, vessels, and arrival dates.
God bless,
TT
This brings back both fond and frustrating memories. Sometimes cars stay at Emden longer than seems reasonable before getting on a ship...just ask TwinTurbo420.
God bless,
TT

Wow, completion to Emden didn't take long - congrats.
Thank you! Yes - I agree. The build and shipping has been ahead of schedule.

I think it can be as much as 3 weeks! And then, once it hit's the east coast, what a GREAT road trip that would be to drive it back. EPIC.
I drove up to Benicia today to try to catch a glimpse of my car. But they were too quick for me, unloading was complete, and the ramps were just being raised as I arrived. So I didn’t see any Porsches, but I know there are a bunch somewhere at the port. My SA tells me they expect to have the car on Monday.
Ok, my turn is FINALLY approaching - woot! - just confirmed my car went V260 on Friday, April 5. I assume it'll be done today or tomorrow. Still showing a Port of Houston date of 5/24.
Details in sig but it's a 991.2 Targa GTS in Silver/Espresso, rear steering and assorted goodies.
The wait does seem to take forever but definitely more exciting once the V-numbers start increasing.
Text from my SA:
”Just got word your car arrived. I asked them to get it ready from tomorrow morning. Please bring current insurance on any car you own, and your checkbook.”
