Congratulations Stuart ....just like that its there.
we need to have a Carrera T NJ club
Couldn't agree more on the NJ and surrounding area Carrera T club! We should pick a spot in central Jersey on a nice spring weekend day and see how many folks we can get to show up.
Holy cow. My car cleared customs and PDI the same day it showed up on the PCNA system as arriving in port. Meaning today. My SA said it must have been the first car off the ship. Regardless, looks like I’ll have my new car any day now. Pictures to follow!
I can't say enough nice things about my SA - Raj at Paul Miller Porsche in Parsippany NJ. He made this transaction easy from start to finish. He let me sell the car to myself with multiple test drives of just about every 911 on the lot, helped me configure the car just the way I wanted it, and made the delivery a pleasure. Based on the outrageous amount of time I spend on Rennlist, I believe the discount he gave me was fair to me and to the dealership. Added bonus was the surprise swag you see in the photo: 2 key fobs, 2 coffee mugs, AND the limited edition calendar. I'm going to frame a few of my favorite photos from the calendar and hang them in the garage, the rest I'm going to give away at my next PCA event to anyone who wants them. Best car buying experience I've ever had!
Got to spend an hour and a half driving the car today after delivery - damn it's a blast (even without exceeding 4k RPM)!
Hey, I love you guys - but I'm really tired of hanging out in this waiting room!
The Grand Venus was in Emden yesterday (Jan 16). I haven't gotten confirmation that my car is onboard, but I assume this is the ship I've been waiting for especially since my schedule (last checked at the dealer on Jan 15) showed expected in Benicia on 2/15.
Has anyone expecting a US west coast delivery received word that their car is onboard the Grand Venus?
My car entered Port Emden on Monday. Presumably it's waiting in line to be loaded on a ship bound for Port Davisville. Hopefully a short wait given the cold and nasty weather there.
