Can't believe that I'm watching the boat that my car is on. I used to laugh at "those guys". Now I'm checking this forum 5 times/day. Thanks a lot Cyberbug and others.

You have joined the club of previous laughers who have become watchers! These cars do strange things to us!
How about Oregon Highway, while we are at it? Last “free” reported position was just off Costa Rica. That was roughly 30 hours ago. Hoping it makes port in San Diego as scheduled on 1/13.
off the coast of Bermuda now, moving a little slow now. Still 2 days out at least min, then who knows how long to dealer. I have pickup scheduled for 1/22

Southern Highway is trailing just behind... looks to be in San Diego on the 14th.... about 4 days behind schedule.
I've no idea.... truthfully i'm not too worried about the delay... plenty of projects to keep me busy after last Saturday's wind storm I've been waiting since Oct so I can always wait a bit longer!
I don’t see delivery until Tuesday…the soonest.
The only explanation I can imagine is PCNA waits for a full truckload of Porsches to deliver to Porsche dealers in the same or nearby cities. Until then, your car just sits.
B4 this experience, I had thought delays were production & waiting for a ship to the U.S. & how slow the ship was in getting here. Maybe bottleneck @ Panama Canal or other things out of the control of PCNA.
Now I know there is absolutely no sense of urgency by PCNA in a timely delivery to their customer.
I wonder if other, high end manufacturers do better with delivery?
Mercedes Benz AMG GT?
BMW?
Do you have your 911 yet, TwinTurbo420? In my fairly extensive experience with BMW, they are very good with delivery, promise vs actual. And my BMW dealer, Dreyer & Reinbold of Greenwood, IN, is excellent. So is my Porsche dealer, D Patrick of Evansville, IN.
Tomorrow is delivery day! She got off the truck today, got prepped, detailed, and gets PPF in the morning. Can't wait! The end to a long 5 month wait is finally here.
