Just wanted to introduce myself. I recently traded my '09 911S for a '13 911S with 17K miles. I have lurked for quite a while and decided it was time to "pay my dues" so I became a member!

Everyone has warned me that this color is an open invitation for a ticket. I think the car looks fast even when parked! Has anyone with a red car noticed that you are discriminated against?

Leave the Speed Limit warnings on in your MFD.

My guards red 993 is more of a "let's race" magnet. I get kids trying to race me almost every time I take out the red 993, hardly ever in the silver 991.

Beautiful car---

I have only received 2 tickets in 28 years of driving--both in red cars (bmw 325ix and porsche 911 cab)

So I tend to believe that red just attracts attention---from Police, people in parking lots, etc...

Get the new ESCORT MAX 360 and at least the first 2 tickets are gratis...lol

Look at it this way ... at least you'd be looking good in that ride when you get a ticket. I really don't think that color is as much of a draw as speed and stupid driving.
