What's really freaky is running over real acorns while experiencing the acorn effect.

"Acorn Effect" too funny and know it well. SECOND time I heard it I called the Dealer that was the day after I swept my driveway of real acorns! It especially happens with those initial tight turns and you have rear wheel steering!

From your other post, you are getting the noise on cold tires, at low speeds, with the wheel turned to near full lock? If yes. I say acorns. Check your tire pressures. A couple extra pounds will help, but not eliminate.

-9 at the rears and -4 in the front. All adjusted now.

In fact the rear driver side sensor displayed a “-6psi” in red and I thought I had a flat. Apparently both, BMW and Porsche TPMS sensors display occasional wacky behaviour.
