Man, they should've left that steering wheel on the shelf at Pep Boys.

Thanks for the quick reply! This is really the only thing keeping me up at night regarding the 991.2.

Have you had any issues bottoming out?

I have a Ghibli with a sport package as a DD- very low and other than the mud flaps forward of the front tires, I haven't had a problem in 5k miles. It's a really nice car except for the crappy radio and lack of lane change warnings (which will be fixed with the 2017s).

Bottom out as the front lower bumper scraping? Once. Thankfully underneath with nothing visible.

Bottom out the suspension? Never. There's not a lot of give in the springs. It would never bottom out.

If you're fine with the Ghibli's front bumper height, you'll be fine!

The one nice thing is having the HRE's with the more aggressive offset pushes the wheels out a bit further than stock. A better look as well. Still under the wheel well, and not obnoxious. With Sport PASM, I think the lift would be a waste of money unless you have a GT3. But it really depends on where you live with steepness of drives, etc ... Some areas are better/worse than others.
Ok - I'm checking that box. Do you feel it makes a difference from a road handling standpoint? In my 991.1 the front end always felt a little loose, then I got just the SPASM lip installed and that made a HUGE difference, so I'm thinking with a little more drop and slightly firmer set-up it should really change the dynamics of the car. I think there's the same normal and "sport" button for SPASM too?

The SPASM is a fixed height and stiffness. The Sport and Sport Plus buttons only change the shifting characteristics of the engine.

If you have PDCC, I do believe that does firm up the ride a little when pressed. There is no air suspension of any sorts in the 911.

DO NOT get power steering plus either. Will make the steering feel very loose.

Carrera S
SPASM
20" wheels
NO power steering plus

= It will drive like a sports car.

Planted, no roll, and very responsive. The new Michelins will probably be a bit quieter than the Pirelli's too. Keep tire pressures at the best level too.

Are you sure about that Stg? At least on my non-PDCC car, there's still a chassis sport button / setting that I think changes the shock behavior (as well as tightens up the engine mounts).

Agree that it doesn't change ride height.

Funny, because you're most definitely not a crackpot (NOT that there are ANY crackpots posting on Rennlist), it made me scratch my head for a minute.

Porsche is happy to sell uber personalized cars. You can get custom colors and even matching key cases but limit use of MT. This began when GT3 991.1 came PDK only. Porsche Marketing Head Preuninger said "shut up and drive it'. Then he launches a GT4 as MT only and says manuals are for 'hobby racers'.

This is segmentation at the expense of customer focus.

Brushed Aluminum looks optional. The standard no extra cost trim should be the normal gloss aluminum trim.
