Just wanted to say a quick whats up to everyone.
After QUITE a bit of searching and test driving, Just last week I secured one of the last build slots for a C4GTS!!! Mid-late november arrival.
I am finally letting go of my 2013 E92 m3, I'll be sad to see her go, but the lease was up and I kept telling myself it's time for the P-car.
Still on the fence about the sunroof and rear park assist, I only have a few days to decide, any advice??
It's also a 7MT
Thanks in advance guys, thrilled to finally get into a 911, one of the last great NA, manual transmission, 400+ BHP 911s at that

Opinions... Ok
Skip the sunroof
If you're going to skip the alcantara get the blue interior
Skip the sport design package
Skip the aluminum look cap
Get self dimming mirrors
Get PCCBs

Congrats and welcome.
Sunroof and rear park? Why not? Sure
Bose? Good to have come resale. Trust me.
Just curious about the blue belts?? Never do a blue interior. It's toxic.

Well I figured the blue seat belts were a unique option. Most people have red.
One other thing I wanted some opinions on were Clear Bra Vs Ceramic Pro on the entire care.
Dealer wants 1350 for front hood of car. 2000 for Ceramic pro around the whole car.
Anyone have their 911 3m clearbra'd?

Congrats on the C4GTS. Everyone has opinions like ...! I would not do the PCCBs for the expense and replacement cost, though they are awesome brakes. Not a fan of a sunroof either as they do have issues. Are you happy w CL wheels? I'd probably opt for lug wheels but it is a matter of opinion again. My only true and good advice is to drive it all you can and enjoy it!

My vote would be no on the sunroof (avoid the rattles) and no on the park assist. Not necessary and those dots ruin the look of the rear bumper IMO.
And I love my PCCB's. There's no replacement cost because they last for freaking ever.
And sport design is a waste on a GTS IMO. Spend that money on PCCBs or PDCC.
Do not do a blue interior. Unless you hope to sell it someday to one of the 11 other people that like the blue interior...

No blue interior?? You both probably have silver cars with black interiors.
If you're buying based on resale you can't afford the car in the first place.
The current yachting blue is best looking interior offered. Grey is just horrible, the tan doesn't work because of the dash and the black is....well black. Ymmv cs.

Wow heart, welcome to your first RL post's baptism by fire. You've obviously chose those options that are important to you. The car will look great! Welcome to our quirky family and keep us posted.

Picking options is such a personal thing, it really needs to be what you want. Personally if you are only on the fence about rear park assist and sunroof, I would say yes to both. I don't think the sensors are a big deal and I got them on my order because I would rather have the extra protection when it comes to bumping into something. Since you are not going for Alcantara, I would go for seat ventilation as well. I really liked it on my extended test drive. I also opted to skip the center locks. They are a good looking wheel but just make sure you ok with getting some extra tools if you ever want to remove a wheel yourself.

Yes, there's a reason most have red belts.... I've got suntek clear bra on the entire front end and opticoat on everything. Clear bra is great, opticoat not so much. Also, agree with no sunroof, there's not much of an opening anyways. Congrats, from a fellow previous e92 M3 owner.

If by Ceramic pro you mean Opticoat Pro, $2,000 is a total rip off unless you're doing a ton of paint correction beforehand. if the paint is perfect, it should be less than half that.

I dont exactly know why everyone is hating on the yachting blue seat-belts.
I am NOT doing the whole interior blue, It is standard leather/black. I even posted the build lol.
Thanks for all the replies though, I feel this will be just like m3post.
As for the sunroof, do they really tend to rattle???
Apparently the 3m clearbra is the better way to go vs opticoat/Ceramic Pro/ competitors??

I don't see any issues with your build. Some things are a matter of personal taste, and in that vein: I would definitely get the PCM w/ Bose (or Burmester if you plan to keep it for a while and DD it), and I'd recommend considering getting the backup camera option. I didn't think I needed it, but was surprised at how often it comes in handy.
