Default whoadude's 2014 c2s

Just took delivery of my 2014 white c2s and thought I'd make a quick introduction. After selling my c63 late last year I began the hunt for a 997 gt3 and as most of you probably know its about the worst time to try to get into one. I came very close purchasing two different gt3s but in the end it didn't work out. I started reevaluating what I really wanted out of my new car and the 991 c2s just checked all the right boxes.

When I started my search for my c2s I knew it had to have a few things, namely it had to be a manual and I was looking for one with an aerokit. Who knew that finding even a manual in CA would be so hard? I ended up locating one in Florida with a pretty cool build and had it shipped over to me in southern CA. Here's the build.

PDCC
PSE
20" Carrera S wheels w crest
PCCB
7 speed manual
Sport Chrono
18 way seats
Premium package
Bose
Aerokit cup
sport design steering wheel alcantara
clear taillights

Im still on the fence on how I feel about that last option, I've seen it work well with different colored cars but seems a bit off on a white one. We'll see if I keep them.

btw props to STG991's thread that helped me narrow down where the market is on these cars fairly quickly. If you're looking for a 991 look there first, I even considered a few that were listed.

on to pics...

Looks amazing!! Congrats. The white/black look with the yellow calipers and Aerokit make for a sweet ride.

Great car! I typically don't like the clear rear tai lights but I think it works on yours - you've got the clean, clinical look going with a pop from the PCCBs. They play off the clear running lights up front. May want to address the red reflectors on the rear. Enjoy!

Looks great - very nice. I wouldn't change a thing - except maybe lowering springs ;-)

Nice car and nice options. The clear tails are ok as long as you get rid of the red reflectors. Google this: bumperplugs 991 rear reflectors

Looks great. Nice build. With all those pri$ey options, buying used was the way to go.

Gorgeous! Also living in SoCal, there are probably tons of people willing to pay you to trade for clear tail lights.

I found my 7MT White on black 991 in LA. I wish I had the aero kit though.

Great looking car, OP.

Congrats/well played. Looks a lot like a GT3.

Give us your thought on the C63 / C2S comparo. I still have a C63 Edition 507, and boy are these two cars different.

I love the low end torque of the C63, but nothing is more pleasing to drive than a 911. I sort of dislike the long bonnet of the C63, and love the driver's view out of a 911. Nothing else like it...

Best/Cheers,

B

With SPASM and PDCC, I wouldn't touch the springs. It's great as is. No need to tinker with perfection.
