Beautifully optioned car. Keep the clears, the car was born with those. Great find! Where in Florida did you find it?

Give us your thought on the C63 / C2S comparo. I still have a C63 Edition 507, and boy are these two cars different.
Thanks! The c63 is a great car, tons of usable power everywhere (almost to much) you get super car speed with the creature comforts and practicality merc is known for. I loved how stealth the c63 was, unless you're an enthusiast you wouldn't know the difference between this and the million other c classes rolling around. The engine of this car is what sold me, what a gem. Oh and the sounds the car makes... so good. What really held the car back imo was the transmission. Especially on the earlier models the auto tranny was not a good match for the m156.

I think that's what really made me want a manual in the 991. That and I really missed rowing! The two cars are obviously very different. Since receiving my c2s this is the most seat time I've ever had in a 911. It became very apparent to me very quickly why this car is lauded as the benchmark for sports cars. It's not the fastest car on the road, but man it does everything so so well. In the short time I've owned it I keep thinking what I could possibly mod on this car and I keep coming back to the answer that its so good it doesn't need anything! It will be hard for me though, I've modded every car I've ever owned so we'll see how the c2s ends up!

some pics of my old c63

OP,

Your C63 looks epic. Love the mods on that car. I agree with everything you mentioned. My only upgrade for the P-car will need to be an aftermarket exhaust. The 911's exhaust note is just a wee bit flat for me. Outside of that, it's perfect.

GL/Cheers,

B

Ben - yup I've been looking at every single exhaust that is out there for this car. A lot of very very expensive options! I really like the inconel kline system as well as akrapovic but $$$$

The PSE is pretty damn good for stock I must admit, although it drones a bit. I just plugged my symposer to see if it will help. I'm actually pretty happy with the sound PSE makes especially when in the higher rpms. I really want to at least change the tips out, they look blah to me.

OP, your new ride looks awesome. I love the white/ black theme you have going on, and the clear tails don't offend me on white.

Beautiful! I love my alcantara steering wheel too. I would say first mod, get the alcantara shifter to match.

And I never like the clear tail light tho.

Thanks! Didn't know they listed it. I know they had it for quite awhile though.

Thanks, the combo caught my eye real quick when I was shopping, and I'm leaning to keeping the clears.

How funny you mention that, I was on suncoast's site just looking at that shifter! I'm confused why this one is over $500 and the 997 version is half the price?

Car looks great, the only thing I would change and it's personal preference.

-Clear tails doesn't work on a white car imo. It only looks good on a black car.

-I love the duck lid spoiler, I think it looks silly to have another spoiler on top of it. Not sure if that's possible to remove?

Other than that, love all the other options.

While you're at it, weld the sunroof closed, paint the car Mexico Blue, and throw a PDK in there!

Car looks great as is .. Enjoy!

LOL you guys crack me up!

So first mods have arrived! Nothing big just some spacers. I love cars with stance!

When I was shopping for a 997 gt3 one that popped up on my radar was the RSS development car. It's actually still for sale here. I made an offer but things didn't work out. It's ok though while I was there viewing the car I got an awesome tour of RSS / Stuttgart Performance. Great facility and products. Now I gotta just find some time to slap these guys on.
