GTS Club Coupe ED
My wife and I leave for Frankfurt tomorrow morning. Finally!
I think it finally seems real; that we're actually getting this car. Thanks to all who have provided help, advice, support and fellowship during the ordering process and waiting period.
We see our car for the first time on Tuesday morning along with (I think) five other Club Coupe buyers. Watch this space for images of a half dozen GTS CC's all in the "delivery room" at Zuffenhausen on Tuesday. And, as possible, from our travels in Germany and Austria.
If you're attending the International Porsche Days event in Zell am See Austria at the end of next week, I'll look forward to meeting. You can't miss me, I'll be the tall middle-aged guy with a big ****-eating grin next to the bright blue GTS.
More anon.

Enjoy!!!! Yes, I'm jealous. Can't wait to see the pictures. If you run into Peter (Wolfgang) Porsche you can tell him that the guy who beat him out to closest to the pin in Cincinnati says hi. Mark

Thanks you guys. I'll keep you posted on what we do and send pictures along. I haven't been on a real vacation in a very long time. It's been 15 years since I've taken two weeks off. I can't wait.

Mrs. D and I successfully made our way from San Francisco to Stuttgart this weekend. A little road worn, but intact and liking what we see so far from Stuttgart. A two-week wine festival is happening right now, so we found good food and relatively local wine for lunch. Tomorrow is a down day, which is exactly what were looking to be doing on our first day. If anyone has must-do recommendations for Stuttgart, we're all ears.

Congratulations on the Club Coupe! A week ago I took delivery of my first Porsche 2015 Carrera GTS. I have been doing BMW European Deliveries since 2006 one every year. I have always wanted to own a Porsche but could never afford it. On one of my European Delivery trips on my way to Brugges and Amsterdam my wife and I stopped in Stuttgart for the factory tour and museum. I understood why P cars were special and admire the best collection of cars at the museum. I would have loved to have done ED but the VAT tax was a deal breaker for me. Maybe in the future because I will always own a Porsche somehow. Enjoy your trip and where are you heading?
