Preaching to the choir.
I have been a first time owner of a 2015 991 GTS for a week now. Picked it up from the lot with 144 miles, now 545 miles. Coming from a BMW M4 I can say that there is no comparison in the driving experience. The car is on rails, the brakes are awesome, the start up sound tell you that you are seating in a true sports car. I have ventured into 5000rpm driving it on first and second in the city and third and fourth on the highway in sport mode. I can't stop admiring the lines, the seating position, ducktail and turbo wheels. As soon as I took delivery I went to get tinted windows and windshield with Formula One Pinnaccle 30% and Llumar Air 80 on windshield at Tint King in West Palm Beach. I am a home detailer with ten years experience correcting paint, I was debating about doing a clear bra since I like the look of polished and waxed paint. Since I will keep this car for at least five years I decided to do the front bumper and whole hood with Suntek clear film at Auto Super Shield in Boca Raton. They are the best in the business in South Florida. While there, I saw a Mc Laren being done and the owner took me too see a full wrap job on an Audi R8. The other mode was a mirror tap and mirror holder for my Escort 9500 ix at JR Electronics in Miami. I am done for now but I went to WheelsBoutique and I saw a set of HREs P106 CL to keep in mind.

Congratulations. I love the combination of the glass sunroof and black wheels on a white 991 - just a really nice clean look.

Thanks everyone. I love white too, all my cars have been white except for my 2012 E92 M3 in Le Mans Blue. The black accents and letters plus tint and glass sunroof make this a beautiful car.
I thought about doing a carbon fiber wrap in the bottom black trim and mirrors. What do you guys think?

+1 manual shifting in any of the modes *IS* the *ONLY* way to fully experience the performance of the car, otherwise it shifts like a minivan

To each their own of course but I would strongly oppose. Carbon fiber 'wrap' is just patterned vinyl that IMO looks like crap on a beautiful car like a 991. If you're into carbon fiber get the real stuff and not a look alike sticker.

I thought about it after seeing a full wrapped R8 with carbon fiber in the hood and mirrors. But I see your point and I appreciate your input. On second thought I like the clean look with the simple black accents.
