Front looks pretty low. Any scraping issues yet Jeff? Beautiful car . Drive the wheels off of her!

No issues with scraping yet and I've got a tough garage entry to deal with. The real test will be when i drive to work tomorrow because the entry to my building seems to cause many cars to scrape but I think if I take it at an angle I'll be fine. Maybe even fine head one.

The drop is the standard GTS drop and I believe the Targa only has PASM, not SPASM. From just looking at the car I think it could be a bit lower but I'm not looking at mods for at least a year

Congratulations. Beautiful car and what a great feeling on delivery day! Enjoy the new car honeymoon.

With respect to your now departed Turbo Cab, sounds like you know is, but sometimes it's liberating to let go of things. Or, as is the case here, letting go sometimes makes room for something better.

With respect to the quote above, this stuff just makes me crazy. I generally ask my SA to tell the finance guy that I'm going to say 'no' to everything and to please spare me the indignity of that exchange. Sometimes it works. When it doesn't, it really pisses me off. You'd think that with Porsche this wouldn't be a 'thing' but you'd be wrong.

Whenever I get the chance, I opt out of the usual dealership experience. And I try hard to make the chance. My latest experience only confirmed how right this is.

Sorry to rant - I'm really happy for you and your new addition is stunning.

Not to fully derail the thread but, I could not believe how pushy the finance person was at Porsche Scottsdale. He tried very hard the make me believe that I was the only buyer in many years not wanting all the extras (i.e. $800 window tint, $4000 prepaid maintenance, $1000 key insurance, etc...). I understand that there may be value in something, but I don't believe Porsche wants to make less money.

It was very frustrating and I did express my concerns to PNA.

To the OP, beautiful car... I too have Carmine red, albeit a GTS Coupe, it draws a lot of attention and thumbs up on the road. Good luck with it!

Wow, that looks great! Carmine was my original choice of color and while I like the brown I chose in the end, your carmine Targa looks fantastic!

Liked reading your reaction to getting the car. I felt exactly the same about my Targa 4S with Powerkit when it was delivered, and still do 10 months later. I 'm always looking for the long way home. I've learned how to stretch a 1 1/2 hour drive into 3 1/2 hours. Congrats

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. It's fun to get a chance to share back given how much time I spent staring at all of your photos and pouring over the threads here while waiting for my car! Here are a few additional photos taken with a better camera but unfortunately not the better photographer

A side shot in some decent lighting:

I just love every angle on this car:

My kids came along for the ride, can you tell which one is behaving so he can get another ride and which one is 4

Some interior shots:

How's the wind noise with top off? Does car have any creaks/rattles over rough pavement?

I'm coming from a 78 Targa and an 87 Cab so the wind noise in this car is nothing. I was listening to my audio book and making phone calls with the top off at 60 mph. So far no creaks or anything from the top. I did notice some rattles while driving on a particularly terrible section of I405 (our roads are terrible around here) but from a quick search it seems that a cross bar in the back might just need some felt pads or something. It wasn't bad at all, most people probably wouldn't notice. But I can hear a rattle in a car like there is a snake about to strike
