I doubt it has or will happen because that option is not available on any of the GTS variants.

thx-- hoping it can-- not that it will- altough it's an option on just about every other variant-- so-- not sure what a valid reason for porsche saying "nein" would be--

Default GTS--Mahogany Trim?

Only way is likely through Porsche Exclusive but costly. I wanted a red stripe at 12 O'Clock added to my 991 GTS steering wheel; cost was $3K+. Passed on that option quickly.

What's truly incredible is that somehow people managed to straighten the steering wheel out even before the red stripe!

I worked with Porsche Exclusive and there is very little that they will allow you to do with the GTS. The explanation was that the car was designed as a package and they don't want to create exceptions. For example, if I went with leather I could not add deviated stitching.
I wanted to have wheels painted Platinum Satin and the cost for that (which in the regular Carrera is $1,000 to have the wheels painted Platinum Satin) would cost me $11,000...(no, it is not a typo!). So in the end I went with the GTS package...
Good luck

$11k for platinum satin wheels is arguably even more ballsy than $3k for a steering wheel stripe!

Holy former DeutschMark--Mensch Meir! I guess I just might be sticking with leather only--OR I suppose I might just be speccing a Cab4S--

Not a GTS, but here are some non-configurator, real world pics of the mahogany trim. Not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but I love it in my T4S.

@T4SVET-- thx--gorgeous look-- that's what i'm hoping to see in my GTS interior--I know there's a fair amount of thought given by Porsche on the GTS pkg-- and that the "ideal GTS" model would have the GTS Alcantara pkg--but for me, this is my first porsche- and don't get me wrong I love the GTS pkg- Im looking for an interior that harks back to when I first encountered sports cars 1965 when I worked with my Dad to restore a 54 MG with wood dash-- now I know that one wasn't made in Stuttgart but I know that you could get some fine wood trim in a 911 back then--and although today's 911 has little more in common with those =relics a nod to heritage is always a good thing-- that and as a final note My son and I worked on an 1989 10AE edition Miata , installing a turbo charger among other upgrades, and that model carried a very similar use of Alcantara-- which for me, was too warm to the feel and had an annoying tendency to pill (pile?). Fingers crossed--

I would assume you can buy the wood trim pieces from Suncoast and install them. Would assume also that trim pieces would fit GTS (but would check to make sure).
