I didn't even know Seat was still in business! And now they're making airplanes?!?
"The importance of using lots of full throttle to seat the rings very early on may seem radically, revolutionarily (not to mention heretically) new to some, but it is in fact something that has been known for a very, very long time."
Exactly! The last two Guzzi rebuilds I broke in exactly that way. Bring the speed up and then 4 full throttle pulls. Plug chop and cylinder bore scope and everything was perfect.

My german-market A45 AMG which isn't even sold in America that I picked up in Affalterbach had a very detailed engine break-in sticker on the upper left of the windshield. Therefore, the idea that Germans only make these recommendations to Americans is simply not true.
I would still slowly break-in the motor if I was picking up a new Porsche.
